Default pushstart in reverse?

ok my starter broke off of my car and now i have to get it to the shop to get the small piece of aluminum welded back on. so my home shop is on top of a hill with about 30ft of steep sloped driveway. my question is can i push start it and pop the clutch in reverse?

I've done it on my old cars, I can't see why it would be a problem with your car.

Same here. My 1st har was a POS Civic without a starter, we always push started that bastard in reverse.

You need a lot less room to pop it in reverse.

Not likely going to turn the engine over much with that gear ratio.

I think it may even work better in reverse but never tried it.

Because of the low gear ratio in reverse it will be harder to turn the motor over. If you can get enough momentum to turn the engine over when you pop the clutch it will work.
