im stupid but cant figure it out help?!?!?

i was wondering how to clip my rear view mirrior back on the metal clip it doest have a screw like my thirdgen

tried it wont click in all the way..theres a metal band that goes around it but its hard to put it back on

hahah! Dude apply pressure slide from the top down while applying pressure it will latch unless your lip on the mirror itself is bent outward

Exactly what he said. When I did mine, it felt like I was going to break the metal base off the windshield.

I also used a screwdriver to help a bit.
