Default What new cam to buy?

Ok, I have an 2000 SS with an m6. It has a SLP Lid, Cut out on the exhaust and a few free mods. This is my daily driver and was wanting to put in a mild cam that would give me some power but not make it a pain in the *** to drive every day. Could anyone help me out with this?

send a pm to patrick g, he makes custom grind cam specs. if you dont know anything about choosing a cam that will be your best bet, and he's had some great results.

Yeah, I did not know much about cams so I went to a shop, told them what I wanted, and they recommended my cam. Worked for me. Being an M6 helps a lot too. Driveability is in the tune. My car's idle can be a little rough at startup but settles down nicely after a minute or so. I could have gone bigger but am happy with it. Cam specs are in sig.

How about a ls6 intake, long tube's and a y pipe first. Cams need to breathe. You wont feel the full rath of a cam with out supporting mods.

Try calling Futral Motorsports. I have the F-11 from them and love it.

+1 on all the boltons to support the cam first. Also, the way the car drives is mostly in the tune.
