Ok to use this style jackstand on the front subframe rails?

Default Ok to use this style jackstand on the front subframe rails?

Just curious if it is safe to put a jackstand of this style under the front subframe rails even tho the rails are wider than the stand pad or w/e its called.
just wouldnt want the stands to slip.

ive done it b4, just shake the hell outta the car b4 u get under it to make sure its sturdy

yup I always do that lol and not only that but i keep 2 jacks under the car just below the kmember and one just below the diff housing as well as an extra set of jackstands in case that fails lol. I'm too paranoid lol

yeah that will work, i usually throw something under the car as well like a wheel or another jackstand incase it falls. im also too damn paranoid.

check out the link below, click on install documents on the left, then scroll down to the Miscellaneous section. Look for the one that says "LS1 lift points"

That one will work perfect, but I would get another just in case. No sense in saving a few minutes and a few dollars only to have your car crush you.

Nothing wrong with being a little paranoid about safety when a 3500lb car is inches above you.
