Suppose to make a little more power than the ls6 manifold, but there are a few threads on this site that claim the opposite. It's hard to beat the cost of a used ls6 manifold and ported tb combo/results. The bbk does look cool though and seems to be favored by some who spray. If you already have an ls6 man, not worth it imho

Don't waste your money imo. The LS6 intake is a good intake for budget minded people.

If you want to upgrade its either FAST or wait for the new Street Warrior intake.

But, the BBk is only 50 Bucks more than a LS6.

You'll be happy with both. Aluminium intake is stronger than the LS6 so if you experience a nitrous backfire, better are your chance with the SSi that the intake wont explode. Plus you have the chance to put bigger TB on the SSi I think...

I have the LS6 by the way and my next move is the FAST 92mm..

I like mine.

It makes more power then the LS6 even when heat soaked.
The only bad thing is that it weights a crap ton.
I got mine last year because im planning on spraying.
But if i was in the market for an intake right now I would consider that new warrior over the BBK.

20 pounds difference maybe??

The LS composite intakes are featherweights, no way an all aluminum intake is going to be even close in weight.
