Default 4.10s 6spd shift point?

Just curious when i should shift..just wanta make sure i get every little bit of gear. Stock 6spd with 4.10s? I heard 6000rpm

I use to shift around 6,but I've noticed better track time's around 5700....take note are factory tach's arnt the best LOL

if stock internals with just gears probably 6... the tachs have said to be off but they are off about 200-300 rpm's at max atleast on my 2 f-bodies iv had and i hooked them up to a scan tool at the same time

well it all depends on what you have done to your car, power levels, torque levels,and the curve of those throught the rpm range.
