I have a
WS6 Store short stick on a hurst shifter, with a MBA shift ****. I love it, looks great and all...
My issue is that it RATTLES! Generally I notice it most at lower rpms at lighter throttle (maybe 1500-2000 is most annoying), but it is prevolant all the time, even at WOT. Is there ANYTHING I can do to make it stop? Tape, some sort of wrap? Any ideas are helpful.
Thanks for your help!

take the stick you bought off the trans get some rtv gasket maker and coat the two flats where the bolts go through. Let it sit for 15 or so min untill the rtv is almost dry then bolt the two back together. Leting the rtv set up a little will make a cusion between the two. Also I put alittle blue locktite on the shift **** threads.
