You will also need valvesprings, retainers & pushrods and for added insurance a new timing chain and oil pump.
Dual valvesprings
pushrods
ported ls6 for high volume oil pump
ls2 single roller timing chain
i would go with new stock or aftermarket lifters
also dont forget about your gaskets

ported LS6 pump, pushrods, valvespring kit rated for the cam, LS2 chain, and new "LIFTER TRAYS". Definitely get the LS2 trays, just in case. They are plastic and I learned the hard way. Alot of people don't replace them and never have trouble, but some like me have learned the hard way for not spending $32 on a new set
Once you get heads you possibly might need to run a little bigger injecters(36# would be safe), but should be fine on the stockers until you get heads. The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
