I would look at a cam something like a TR224 or 228. Texas Speed has some good cam packages as well.
You will also need valvesprings, retainers & pushrods and for added insurance a new timing chain and oil pump.

well, i am happy with my 224/230 591lift ls1 114comp cam, it has great street manners, i made 400hp without heads on a stalled auto. the cam is a good forced induction, and nitrous cam, i also run the bottle with mine too, but idk whats the #'s are on the bottle..you will need
Dual valvesprings
pushrods
ported ls6 for high volume oil pump
ls2 single roller timing chain
i would go with new stock or aftermarket lifters
also dont forget about your gaskets

Like everyone else has suggested a cam that is in the 220s with under .600 lift will be very street friendly. Will net you 370+ for sure. Like above
ported LS6 pump, pushrods, valvespring kit rated for the cam, LS2 chain, and new "LIFTER TRAYS". Definitely get the LS2 trays, just in case. They are plastic and I learned the hard way. Alot of people don't replace them and never have trouble, but some like me have learned the hard way for not spending $32 on a new set Once you get heads you possibly might need to run a little bigger injecters(36# would be safe), but should be fine on the stockers until you get heads.

if you were smart you would do a dual spring, which .650 lift spring, extra insurance, instead of the .600 lift springs... but its your money, but i rather do it the safe way instead of costing you a bunch of money in the future to a broken spring...
