Default LS2 402 Stroker advise

I'm looking to stroke an LS2 (402) and need some help with the head and CAM setup. The motor is going in a sandrail and I'm trying to get 580 horsepower and 550 torque..

Here is what I was looking at...

243 Heads (CNC) - Fast Intake / 90MM - - Not sure on the CAM
L92 Heads (CNC) - L92 Intake / 90MM - Not sure on the CAM

Or is there a better way to go on this stroker ?

Thanks in advanced...

-Brian

im not good with cams but the l92 heads with a fast 90 intake would be your best bet. along with a NW 90mm tb

I think your HP is going to be a little less than your expecting but not by much. Your HP probably wont make it up that high with a 402ci w/ 243's or L92's. Also the fast intake wont work with the L92's. I was able to make some great power with ported 243's and a medium size cam. If you used some TFS 235's and a big cam you could get pretty close to your goal but I don't see it happening with either of those heads you have chosen.

You cant use L92 heads and the Fast intake or NW 90mm TB. The L92 guys are stuck with the L76 intake.

l92 heads with carb intake and elbow, with a nice split duration cam. 500whp on motor is more than capable
