Key FOB Question... Ok, so I've followed the instructions to activate a new key fob. Followed the instructions online and the ones that came with it. It does not work. I have replaced the FOB, thinking it was bad, but the 2nd one doesn't work. My original FOB that came with the car still does work, and I can reprogram that one... Is there a trick to this? I cycle the key 3 times, the radio fuse is out, with key in run, I press and hold lock/unlock for 15-20 secs, and nothing happens with the new one. It is the right model FOB, the #'s match my original. What am I missing here, even replaced the batteries. Please help.

I would say there is something wrong w/the new one.I found a key fob from a old car i had and it programmed to my new one w/ no problem.You can find them new on E-Bay cheap.

Dunno what's going on - you're programming them both at the same time right? Assuming the other fob is good sometimes after replacing the battery it needs to be resynchronized. After programming press and hold the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously for a few seconds, should cycle the door locks and flash the parking lights.
