Default machine shop suggestions

Im about to start my 383 ls1 project, and im looking for a good machine shop that has dealt with these motors before (hopefully in the New Orleans, Biloxi, Mobile area). The motor was submerged during katrina, so it definately needs to be cleaned, and the cylinders bored and honed. This is my first engine build, so i am unsure of any shops in the new orleans area. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Maybe try calling Thunder Racing? I believe they are based in Baton Rouge. They might be able to tell where to go.

I'll move this to the N.O. section. You'll probably get more responses there.

Go to either Futral or wall 2 wall if you just want machine work.
