Some will say the 918's are a questionable spring but to be honest I've seen several failures of different springs on tech. Mine have approx 20k on them with zero problems. They are the revised 918's that are SUPPOSED to be good up to .625 but I'm not sure I would trust them over a .600 mainly cause that's the original lift they were made to handle. Like I said before my cam is under .600. It's .588/.592 to be exact. As far as charging you on install, thats not what most of us on here are about. We like to help each other out. We just make sure there is plenty of food and cold beverages on hand

In fact, the RHS heads have a 0.800-inch-thicker deck, making them suitable for high-power and supercharged applications where the stock head structure can be less than adequate. With the RHS head, it is recommended that you not only step up to a 3/8-inch-diameter pushrod when possible, but that you also utilize a Comp pushrod-length checker (Part #7703-1) to make sure youve selected the correct part. Considering that the stock-length pushrods are 7.400-inch long, the new heads will require somewhere between 8.050- and 8.150-inch units.

Yeah, I may just go .592/.592 on lift. I don't want to be messing with springs very often. Should I still go ahead and get better springs than the 918s if I'm under.600? I want them to last as long as possible.
I'm probably gonna go with 3.42s with a ss3600 stall. How is driveablity with a 3600?
As far as installation, I'd love to get my hands dirty and help out rather than drop it off somewhere. I just lack the experience and equipment to do it myself. Name your price.

If you are ever going to run a power-adder such as nitrous, turbo, supercharger....etc, you will find out after about 5 dyno pulls that those springs will not cut it, go ahead and by a nice dual valve spring set up and run the cam you want, they are not that much difference in price.

I'm not familiar with the breed, so I did a quick google search.

These guys are only vicious to people that look scary. Maybe the British schoolchildren were dressed like gangbangers?

I know it's not optimal, but will my car be driveable with stock 2.73s and ss3600 stall on the 230/230 cam? I don't want to put much money in the 10 bolt, as it will be a while before I can upgrade the rear end. Or should i add a gearset?

I know thats not what you wanted to hear but thats the way it goes, just like the 10 camaros axles would break in the M6s at the track with stock motor before gm upgraded them.

Don't sweat the rear end. Autos don't break them like M6s do. They can run into the 10s behind an auto. I do think they benefit from a fresh rebuild though. New bearings throughout keeps the tolerances within spec and helps it live longer. There is a little shop out towards the Greenwood area that does great things with 10 bolts, I can hook you up with them
