John at PTS is complicated to deal with unless he knows your good for the money or it's dirt track related. I'm from minden and I know alot of people. John is good people but that always seemed to be the norm with him when it came to motors. Plus with it bein this close to the season opening he more than likely has a full shop already.

As far as Kittler's goes, I wouldn't take anything to them. I've had bad luck just like many others. In my case it was one of those last minute things and it ended up costing me $2500. I've always used Mills and even though some people have had their problems with them I never have. They know me and my dad cause he uses them quite often for his business and I know that helps.

Johnny if you wanna bump the compression up some I have some 241 heads if you wanna swap. I have an LS1 intake if you need an intake for it.

I'll probably be taking the heads by Mills. The heads I've got are 862's, if you don't mind downgrading. I'll be picking up Chris' old LS1 intake later this week.

Doug's Paint and Body is fantastic. I'll recommend them from now on.

Got a tour of the place yesterday while the paint was drying. They have 2 frame machines, 4 wheel alignment machine, downdraft paint booth with digital temp control, a paint computer that matches colors exactly... All kinds of cool ****. Also some of the nicest car guys you'll ever meet.

No. He said that doing the hood was a bad idea. He said that the hood flexed a lot and that the paint would crack and chip off. Said he'd do it, but not warranty it or stand behind it.

The more I look at it, the more I like it natural anyway.

They have special paint for parts that flex more. If seen a few cars do it with cf hoods looks good with scoop natural and everything else matched
