chris, so how are you/yall liking the new place so far?....... i think me and my old lady will be making an offer on a house this week. full covered parking, huge backyard, slab in the back for a nice storage building, 4 bedrooms, hardwood floors, fireplace, very quiet "old person" neighborhood, fenced yard. they are even gonna throw in a riding mower that me and hilton are gonna try and get running. if not, i know a guy thats gonna give me a fresh rebuilt motor for 0 dollars.
its great couldnt be happier. This isnt the first time i have lived here though.

Not yet. We will be at the end of the month. That's when we're moving in. Should be doing the paper work this week. I can't wait to have me another shop again. I've got so much to do on my car. I've just been ordering and collecting. Finally narrowed down my cam selection and fixing to order it this week so I'll have alot ahead of me after we get moved in. So if ya'll don't see me on here much in August that's why.

-LS6 Intake
-Prothane motor mounts
-Vengeance Racing VRX4 cam/springs/pushrods
-30# Injectors
-ARP Rod bolts
-Oil pan gasket
-Cam swap gasket kit
-ported LS6 oil pump
-LS2 timing chain
-Summit UD pulley
-4.11 gears
-tune from McBride
I think that's it for now. That should get me by for a while. May send off the heads that are collecting dust to get a Stg 2 port and polish. Then later get that Eagle rotating assembly to build up the short block.

my dr's are bald. and i work. it would be like 9:30 till i could make it out there. i have too much **** goin on right now anyway. i need to save all the $$ i can. i really dont want to go back until i can make a decent launch with it anyway.

My car should be outa the shop after getting a new 6.0l short block,fast intake,trailblazer stall and nice cam.It is getting tuned now and should be running strong by this friday.

does the reverse lockout solenoid control the speedo too? i broke the solenoid and the damn speedo, odometer, cruise, and the car is hard to get in reverse

I don't think so. A guys car I worked on had the same thing happen to his but the speedo and all worked. You just had to bitch slap it to get into reverse. Put a new one on and fixed that problem. There aren't any other connectors loose or broken down there is it?

Check your fuses. Galen had a similar thing happen, I'm not sure about the speedometer, but it was a bastard to get into reverse. He replaced a fuse and it fixed it.
