I still check this post once or twice a day. For a couple years, I would refresh it every few minutes because we had some great conversations.

Probably not another Vette, but I'll get something. I needed to get a few other things straightened out. This isn't the best time for me to have a hot rod.
Sorry to jump in guys but I'm from Monroe and I'm new to these Ls1 cars. I was wondering are there places around your area that can tune my car and wake this thing up a little well alot LOL. I have Hooker Lt headers and slp lm exhaust. I believe I need a good tune to clear some codes. I only had the car for about a week. I just need a little help car acts kind of sluggish sometime. It don't respond to well.

Yes. Call Todd Engelbrecht with Blue Thunder 2 Racing 760-696-5792
He's is pretty much the best in the area and all of us who don't tune our own use him. You have no idea what you're missing out on until you get that car dialed in

I hear ya Dan. It's a challenge just to get it on jack stands. The Camaro was a piece of cake. Now as far as working on the motor under the hood... Spark plugs, heads, opsu, etc is much easier. I miss my f body. It felt like a true muscle car. Is have both if I could.

At one point I was seriously considering a vette but after seeing the mark up on bolt ons seemed excessive compared to an fbody and overall just isnt practical for me. So, I decided to just build a motor that will just about give anything a run for it's money and be a solid 10 sec car N/A. It's gonna be a year or so but it'll be LS3 based as a hint.
