BT Racing LS Dual Valve Spring Kits, .650" (GM LS-Series)
Brian Tooley, formerly of TEA, has come out with several dual valve spring kits for LS cylinder heads. With years of experience in LS cylinder head design, Brian now offers the ultimate dual valve spring kits for LS cylinder heads.
The LS Platinum Dual Valve Spring Kit features Polished inner and outer springs, matching titanium retainers, locators, seals and locks. On completely stock heads the springs setup at 160 lbs @ 1.770” installed height, 380 lbs @ .600” lift and 400 lbs @ .650” lift and coil bind at 1.070"
This dual valve spring kit is designed for use with stock rocker arms. Open pressure in endurance applications should be limited to 400 lbs or the valve tips can be damaged. This kit uses OEM locks, stock locks allow valve stem rotation which helps the durability of the valve tips.
The LS Max Pressure Dual Valve Spring Kit is designed for heavier roller rockers. They check at 160 lbs @ 1.800”, 420 lbs @ .600” lift and 450 lbs @ .650” lift and coil bind at 1.100". These dual valve spring kits feature excellent durability in maintaining spring pressure.
This dual valve spring kit is designed for use with roller rocker arms, or track only combinations using stock rocker arms. This kit uses OEM locks, stock locks allow valve stem rotation which helps the durability of the valve tips.
