Quick Latch products has developed a new generation of hood fastening technology that far surpasses traditional hood pins in both style and functionality. Automotive enthusiasts often experience problems with losing hood pins, or even forgetting to reinstall them, with rust, and also with lanyards that scratch expensive paint jobs.
Quik latch hood fasteners solve these problems with a sleek, and simple yet elegant snap shut and quick release action. Quik Latch hood fasteners mount to the hood, and line up with studs placed on the core support, or other bracket. Once the hood is closed, Quik Latch fasteners automatically latch to the studs mounted on the core support, and will not release the hood until the center button on the top of the mechanism is depressed. The Quik-Latch Mini Latches have recently been approved for use in competition by the NHRA! Check out the letter below sent to Quik-Latch by NHRA technical services. The Quik-Latch mini latches are highly effective removable fasteners for body panels, hoods, trunks, and interior compartments. The amount of potential applications for the Quik-Latch mini is only limited to the imagination of the installer.

The Quik-Latch mini latches are of the same basic design as the larger hood pin sets, but scaled down and significantly cheaper. In addition with the ability to function as automotive fasteners, the Mini Latches have multiple applications for which they could be utilized, even outside the realm of automotive customization. That is the real advantage of the Quik-Latch mini - its versatility. Our customers have used them on street rods, dedicated drag race cars, cabinets, custom enclosures, remote control model airplanes, and go carts, to name a few. There are probably customers out there who have found applications that we don't even know about yet.
