PRT big bore sleeved blocks are now available to everyone!
Every block starts as a brand new GM LS2 block. The blocks are then machined for the sleeves on our Milltronics CNC. The blocks are then stress relieved. After the sleeves are installed, the blocks are decked on our CNC.
The final step is to diamond plateau hone the cylinders to within .0003".
The blocks are also available with no decking or honing done. This is for the machine shops that don't have the equipment to sleeve the blocks but want to finish the block themselves.
These blocks have been tested to 1200 flywheel horsepower with a 4.125 bore size. Cheaper than an ls7 block and much stronger.
