TTP's New 4130 Chromemoly Subframe Connectors We wanted to create a new lightweight subframe connector for the f-body cars. We went for 1.625 x .083 4130 chromemoly round tubing and 3/16" oil hardened steel plates at the ends. This creates a very rigid mounting surface with the lightweight 4130 tubing. This is our first prototype set being tacked in to a customer's car. Oh and just so anyone asks that is our new Candy Apple Red powder coat.
