No time to build the turbo setup. Trying to race in Donald's radial tire championship in Bradenton, which started today, but I could still qualify tomorrow. Also it rained today (luckily for me) which delayed things a bit. My friend and I are busting *** to get it finished.. I just stopped by my house grabbing some parts I needed and I gotta go back to work on it.
I'll be running 6.50 index class. We just converted it from T56 to a powerglide w/ brake so I'll have zero time to get used to it haha. Also, I'll be driving it to the track, no strapping it up on a trailer

 

I built a fuel cell like yours about a year ago ,Built it off the same dimension of the stock battery, It holds almost two gal. of fuel. Nice build keep the pics. coming

 

My bad everyone, I've been slacking on the pics. We built the car in about a week to ten or so days. I drove it to the radial tire championship when we finished on saturday, and missed qualifying by a mere 2 hrs!

Had a problem with the oil sending unit. it broke, so I went to napa and they gave me the wrong one so it wouldnt go in They were the only place around that had one, the closest advance or zone that had one in stock was 30 miles away. We took the threaded end from the sending unit that had broke and welded up the back of it after trying to find a plug or another sending unit for a while. No oil pressure guage but we were in a rush to get her to the track, and I knew she had excellent pressure. I DO NOT CONDONE THIS as it was just a last minute fix to get her to the track.

 

thats old school hot-rodding stuff though man! make the best of what you have to work with! youve done a great job so far putting that together in less than 2 weeks, eager to see the finished pics though..

And i'm having quite the time in orlando. races being continued tomorrow. Yeah the ladies are cool, theyve been up in the tower chillin with me and my photographer all day since it was raining. one of them has a supra that runs 9.3 @ 146
