Default how many bottles? Size?

How many bottle/size are the guys running for 300-400 shot direct port applications? What is you bottle pressure staying at through the pass? What is ideal bottle pressure for that kind of shot? Thanks guys.

Chances are, a typical 10 lb. bottle won't be able to sustain worthwhile pressure with that size shot through a full 1/4. We've had good luck with a 15 lb. holding pressure on a 250-300. If you have plenty 10 lb. bottles sitting around you could always run them into a "Y". Ideally one would run a Nano setup, but I realize they're still taboo to some and expensive to most.

Ideal bottle pressure is arguable to a degree, but most agree betwen 900-1000. As far as I know (which isn't too far LOL) the preferred bottle pressure doesn't actually go up with a bigger shot. I know some people run too much pressure (between 1150-1300) when they run a big shot, but they just do that to try and retain 800 by the end of the run on a 10 lb. bottle. This makes tuning difficult, possibly dangerous, and isn't exactly healthy for solenoids.

makes good since, my original plan was to run two 10lb bottles into a Y but wanted to remove one for weight. Nano is def. an option but want to see more people using it and liking it before I make a decision on that plus its just more bottles to fill.

I've never seen/heard anyone have any legit complaints about Nano. Most all I've seen are quicker ET's and more consistent times .

On another note, if you're hitting a car with a 300 shot, the extra 20 lbs. will be ok.
