Can you purge through the intake??
Re: Can you purge through the intake?? this is a common practice. If you are doing it because you are tying to hide it, ok. but if its a track car, just get a purge. The ONLY reason you would want to purge into the motor is for a hidden kit. Otherwise its pointless.

Re: Can you purge through the intake?? I purge through the motor. I do it because it not only purges the nitrous system, it purges the fuel system too. I beleive its necessary to get the best results. I don't have a purge valve...... but the only reason I would have one would be to put on a show.

Re: Can you purge through the intake?? It would be purging N20 and Fuel through the TNT power ring just as if you were spraying. Wire a push button directly to the WOT switch.

Arm the nitrous, bring rpms to 3500 then press the purge button keeping your foot in the same place
on the gass pedal. I usually do this procedure twice before I stage.

Re: Can you purge through the intake?? Are you guys talking about purging with a seperate button controlling a "purge" solenoid or activating the n2o as you would going down the track? If you are spraying into the motor fuel and n2o, I can't imagine it being hard on parts....If you are purging straight n2o into the motor with no fuel it will be hard on parts.
