Sure it will be safe, given a good tune. these motors are absolute brutes. you can go back and search for some of my threads as i pushed the stock long block with spray to unheard of goals/levels. I went all the way to 285rwhp shot before having an issue, and that is around 300 sprayed 1/4 passes. so don't worry just stay on top of the timing and use good fuel, after a 150 shot start adding some race gas and go colder on the plugs. watch your a/f ratio going lean as you up your shot as my Racetronics started falling short once i approached 650rwhp, however, i also had the regulator and return at the rails witch will allow your fuel system to go even further. Or of course there are other ways to increase fueling on your platform when your ready or in need i can help you there. My buddy has the stock block record right now and it's currently at 10.19 an dhe is close to 700rwhp, so you can see these motors can handle a bunch of power if fueling and tune is spot on. have you seen the Z06 Fast List? you can submit your n/a run and your spray run and I would be happy to add you.

I know your playing, but watch out for what you wish, lol. His car right now with a 100hp shot will get very deep into the 10's depending on skill level piloting the Z06. I went, with a 100% stock block LS6, 10.85 and a small dry hit, and my best ET n/a wa 11.71. So he could potentially get a 10.4 with a 100 shot if conditions and driving permit. According to his build and if running a 150 or 200 shot that car is an easy 9.xx machine in the right hands.
