Hey guys, Im in the process of wiring up all my n2o stuff and i've got the three wires left for the sensor connections on my HSW microedge controller. My instructions tell me exactly which pins on the ECU to tap for the RPM and TPS signals which is great, but not for the O2 input, which brings me to my two questions:
1- is it ok to just use scotch locks on the wires for the sensor signals? or is it a "must do" soldering job?
2- For the O2 sensor input (orange wire on microedge), is there a pin on the ECU I can tap into (like the TPS and RPM signal)or do I need to get closer to the actual sensor itself (this is what it sounds like from the instructions)? And im assuming this is going to the pre-cat O2 sensor on either bank?
Thanks guys!!! all help is greatly appreciated.

1 - yes they will work. I myself always prefer to solder all connections to ensure good connectivity that will last the lifetime of the car.
2 - yes, tap into the sensor itself. You will also want the pre-cat sensor.
Let me know how you make out! Thanks!

no scotch locks. throw them away. its a purple and white wire on the blue connector. get a diagram for the computer. i dont remember what number it was. bank 1 sensor 1 was the purple one and bank 2 sensor 1 was the purple and white.

Thanks guys, I guess because I only got these three left and I want to be extra careful with them because they are PCM inputs I can bust out the soldering iron for these few connections.
I'm at the same stage of installing my kit as you are!! Read the replys but what is the answer to the O2 pin location? Do I have to tap it at the sensor? Should I shrink wrap the connections or heat wrap them?

Traced the o2 sensor wire to the cpu. Hooked it into the microedge. seems to be working great, I only have the 75 shot pill in and no heater so I tested at 650 psi. Felt little gain.heating the bottle with blanket. I'll report back later
i was wondering about the connection for the rpm signal. i already have my shift light tapped into the pcm. can i just piggy back off of the same wire from the light? as far as the tapping onto the o2 sensor how do you go about doing that? which wire do you tap into?
