Just had a question is it worth using a 2 step. I have a T400 w/brake chance N2O stall. Stall is 5000 car will spin 7400 rpm. Just wanted to know is it worth getting a 2 step and does someone have a wiring diagram to wire all the brake and N20 to it. What are the benifits of the 2 step and downfalls.
thanks

if you are running a trans brake i dont see a need to run a 2 step. all it does is limit your timing while the 2 step is engaged so that you leave at the specified rpm. if you leave off the brake you will still be leaving at whatever rpm you want. i beleive the 2 steps are more used for manual cars to help them leave with some accurate rpm then just trying to keep the peal half way down. but thats just my $.02

Actually you need a 2 step with that high of a stall! The 2 step will allow you to set the RPM you want to launch at and when you arm the transbrake you can push you gas pedal all the way to the floor instead of watching your tach to make sure you are launching at the correct RPM. Just do not set it high at first. Try something like 2,500 RPM's remember when you take you finger off the switch you are at WOT! You will love it. Adjust you launch RPM once you see how the car responds.
Most of the two steps come with wiring diagrams!
Good Luck!
