If they want to run unlimited than run Drag Radial.

Who do you plan on showcasing your stuff to?
or you guys can race in true street

I would say that is a close guess.

Doubt you will see a low 8 second pass on 275's, I ran these tires last year and they a no where near as good as the 295 or 315.

PSCA Wild Street has Blower cars running 7.50's, SB turbos going 7.80's, and SB nitrous cars going 8.04.

RPM went the 8.16 pass on 275 radials and would fit into your rules very well, as should i.

I can tell you that there wont be a anything other than NOS cars in this class. Nitro Dave is working on some rules. JMill96Z is spot on what the class needs to be. If you want to run a NOS all out with any combo then drag radial is for you. This class is going to have to be quite a bit slower than Drag Radial to be feasible.

Remember NMCA is watching and the more you guys argue and not come to some consensus is only making them wonder why even try.

None of these are LS1 cars.

RPM was on 275's ? I dont think so. Not saying they couldnt do it but I dont think they were.

I think NMCA did a great job last year. That gave out something for us N20 guys. All the people that complained for not having any thing, didnt show.

If you want something competitive, for the budget minded people. Then go bracket racing. Everyone will fit the class.

There will always be someone with deep pockets running fast. Then everyone will complain about it........No car count no race.

The first part about fastest wins build a car yadda yadda goes directly against the last sentace about car count. gotta have 1 or the other. there unlimited class did not work last year 3 cars showed up and remind me what round they got put on trailors? ok so maybe they should try somehting else....

The big hitters other than Wayne pretty much are not interested in changing setups. That's OK. We just need to change our target audience. We could aim for low 9's to low 10's. This would greatly increase our chances of filling a class.
I don't see a problem limiting the FI guys. the big Fi guys have a place to race in the dr unlimited class. i bet theres a good number of smaller fi guys that want a class and cant run low 8's but could be competative at 9.0

We did get put out first round. But we did qualify #6. If there were more N20 car supporting the event. I think we would have a better chance with NMCA. They tried different things for us. I don't think there are going to consider any N20 class for the above reasons.

I hope all goes good for you. Good luck.

We have a new car now,(thanks Madman) So we are concentrating on it. I dont think it with fit the class.

We were on 315's. If we were on a 275, we could go anywhere to race.

If you want a complete field its going to have to be a mid 9 sec class to 10.00 pass. By the way how many 8 and low 9.20 sec. cars are out there. Would be nice to have 30 nitrous cars and see who goes on the trailer.
