A lot of people like to use a propane torch on thier bottles, personally i wouldn't risk it. If you do decide to do that just remember not to hold it on one spot too long.

I'm not reccomending it, just giving you a warning.

like he said put it in hot water or you can use propane torch,, put make sure you put a gauge on the bottle, not on the line, on the bottle and watch it so it doesnt get too high,, getting the pressure to high can do 2 things,, one the nitrous solenoids wont open or 2 the pressure valve will open and you will have nitrous everywhere.. so make sure you put a gauge on the bottle..

not in one spot, move the torch up in down on the bottle, dont hold it in one spot, but like i said before , make sure you put a cage on the bottle so it reads bottle pressure not line pressure..

i get it up to like 975-1000,, do you have a purge? if you do that would be perfect. and when you get it out of the water put some blankets around it so that it will stay warm.. 900-950 is a perfect pressure to have at the startign line when you are ready to hit it..,, more towards 950 because by the time you are done with the pass it will loose pressure anyway..

I've heard about it happening, but i've never seen it first hand. I've seen it done a million times without consequence.

Make you a redneck bottle heater that is safer than a torch. Get you a decent power inverter and a 120v heating pad that you use for your ailing back or knee an woila! you have a bottle heater. Some of those heating pads have settings so you can turn up the heat as much as you want then turn it down when the pressure comes up. Any Wal-mart has both of those.

I always thought about that

Let it sit in some warm water for a minute, pressure will come up nicely

I agree with Mike. I'm not a fan of using a torch as a heat source. Anytime I see someone doing it, I'm the first to head in the opposite direction.
