Default nitrous and cats????please help!

i have a wet nitrous kit on my car and have tr6 in it and i want to know if you can spray with cats onn the car? or do they have to come off to spray!

I do through mine.I have the Nitrous Express wet kit.

really? ive heard that term " if you dont take off your cats t? the nitrous will" ......and one of my friends has a stck c6 on nitrous and he says it wont hurt them? ....the reason why i ask? its because i sprayed the car before with out any problems but i installed cats back on it cus i got sent to state refariee and im wondering if i can spray with the cats on the car??

As long as your not overly rich i don't see a problem. All they do is just re burn the unburned fuel so being overly rich can cause them to overheat as well as a exhaust backfire wont be very good for them. But a proper running nitrous system shouldn't cause an issues.

no..... they are obd2 cats they will pass smog...when i bought the car it came with shortie headers and a catted y pipe ..but i had to throw them back on cus i got sent to state refaree

i have a nitrous express wet system and when i first installed it on my car i had stock exhaust besides the catback and cutout, a few months after i installed my LT's and ORY and the right side cat was blown out. Not sure if it was from the nitrous.

I have sprayed a 150 shot on my car plenty of times with no damage to the cats. I am running S/S cats in mine though.

It will be fine. I sprayed a 125whp shot on stock manifolds and cats and the car was fine
