definately a cleaner looking system than my NOSzle. I would want to see one with a low pressure fuel set-up myself. My NOSzle is finally coming around and hope to get a good timeslip this friday. I have some pics if someone can post them. It is not a pretty system but the NXL has possible disadvantages too. I have heard from "old school" racers that the rail type systems sometimes get air pockets in them and I would like the ability to change solenoids. If I had it to do over I would buy a true drill and tap direct port system.

I can host your pics.

For those of you concerned with the "dead spot" Dave was talking about. Basically what happens is right when the kit is activated the car stumbles for just a split second then starts pulling like crazy. I do not have a purge though so I'm thinking thats whats causing it.

If its anything like the NOSzle kit, I had problems with mine. Jetting was designed around 43 psi and our cars have 58...you may have to regulate the pressure somehow on the n2o side. I wound up doing a full low pressure sytem on mine.

juiSSed1172,

I'll try to send you some pics tonight.

Thanks,
Shawn

That kind of thing happens on all "wet" kits that don't have a purge.

Then I guess everyone with the kit has nothing to worry about.

Thumbs up Nxl Kit

Thanks for all the posts on the NXL kit. Hope to have the kit installed next week. I'll post times at the track if I get there before the season ends and maybe some dyno pulls.

My baseline is a best of 12.43 @ 113 mph w/FLP LT Headers, SLP Loudmouth/no cats, TR 224/561 111.5 LSA cam, Isky 295-d valve srings and titanium retainers, 17" Nitto's, Motive 4:10's, Pro V Shifter and most the bolt ons. Tuned w/LS-1 Edit.

Thanks again, Mark

Thumbs up

Nice looking kit. Very clean.

Any problems with missing parts or customer service from NX?

Default Missing Parts

I was missing 2 short hoses and y fitting for nitrous lines so far, but Nitro Dave and NX got me the parts reasonably quick.

I have a dual purge on my NXL kit. There is no flat spot or hesitation at all. The kit hits hard and everything in the kit is very high quality like I expect from NX. My only concerns are a lack of jetting patterns for anything over 180 hp. The kit comes with jetting for 80/120/180. With the 180 jetting we only picked up 134 hp on the dyno. NX could not supply me with jetting for anything over 180 hp. I lost 10 hp compared to what I had with a NX maf kit jetted at 150hp. My car ran a 7.33 on motor and only a 6.92 on the nitrous. I was very disappointed. I know NX will get everything worked out and this is not meant to bash NX as I'm one of their biggest fans and have ran their kits for years with zero problems and great support.

Here are your pics!

That NXL setup is SICK!

I was very unimpressed on first looks in the packaging.. it looks HOT on the car though!

Hope to have mine 90% installed, yes will be waiting on the Y and lines as everyone else did, this weekend...first FedEx needs to get it here!

Gold Z do you have any pics of your dual purge? I never used a purged, kinda liked it that way, but with this i see where a purge could be useful.

Any updates on jetting info? I have a wideband mounted in my car already so once this puppy starts a firing up, I will log the AFR....yeah I am starting with the 180jets, now I run 175 wet kit, and it makes for a nice hard, front tire lifting on an A4 pull from the hole! So, will jet 180, log the AFR, and mess with jets sizes once I get them as well. Hopefully before then someone will post up their findings!

Looks like Nitrous Outlet wil be getting an order for the Jet Master Pack very soon! (ouch $550).

The NXL system is hot - my car runs CRAZY, even on the 120 shot! Nitrous Dave hooked me up with all the missing parts (hoses and WOT switch) reasonably quick.
My previous NA best was 12.4 @ 113 mph. I'll shatter that now and be in the 11's easy.
