Default Noob to Nitrous

So I am in the process of my swap of a LS1 into my 64 skylark and I am thinking of a 200 shot along with her.
99 Motor
stock crank
lightweight probe rods
forged srs pistons
stock afr 205s
FTI custom cam
My questions are
1. can it be done with my set up safely
2. What gas/timing/ accessories would I need
3.Who has the best kit who would you recommend
This will be primarly for show with the occasional need for my butt to pucker and is not intended for drag use.
Thanks

1) Shouldn't be a problem. I would verify with the piston manufacture to see what they rate their pistons for, but generally speaking you should be within that window.

2) There are really a few ways of doing both...anything from pulling timing from the N/A tune, to running a device that pulls the timing for you. Are you running the stock pcm with it or are you converting over to a aftermarket ecu? If you are making the conversion, there are a few standalones out there that have built in features for nitrous use. As far as fuel, I would really recommend investing in a stand alone system.

The third question really depends on a few things. Shoot me over a PM and lets discuss it a little further. Thanks.

I love old school conversions. I think they have alot of Character. There are alot of different options available for your set up. Your set up will be fine for about 150-200 hp. If you are looking for the best product on the market look no further than the Nitrous Outlet plate system. There are plenty or posted results of people using our products in High Horse applications with great results. OUr products are designed to net the best flow and design. If it will work great for high horse power applications its a given it will fit your needs as well.

Let me know if I can help in any way.
Thanks
Dave
