Default Quick question on a dry system

My car has been tuned by a previous owner. I know its running rich as of right now.

If i hope on a friends dyno and do a pull NA and then on spray and the AFR looks good should i worry about having her take the 100 pill?

how do you know its running rich? where do you have the nozzle located exactly? Do some pulls and see where it is NA, you might have to do some tuning. Do you have stock injectors? 100 shot may max them out so be careful.

$$ thats why i havent got it tuned yet. Dyno time will cost me a case of beer.

Harris- You can smell it. Im not that well informed but a local speed shop said they were pretty sure it was as well. I have not bought to kit yet. I have 98 injectors. They should be ok on a bolt on car on a 100 shot right?

I meant at WOT which is when the kit would be activated. You can run rich at idle and be right on at WOT. I really wouldnt guess based on smell either.

Its not likely, you will probably max them out. keep your eye on the injector duty cycle.

My bolt-on car had 86% injector duty cycle. Some people said that could have been because of a weak fuel pump. But if it really was 86%, then I was maxed out on a 100 shot. I never used it again because I got scared and added a Racetronix fuel pump and bigger injectors.
