Don't hook the heating element up to the switch. Way too high of an amp draw for most toggle switches. Use a relay for sure. What brand is it and did you buy it as a kit or just an element?

x2 id like a diagram if possible, I will just be buying the element b/c I have a relay, wire, and connectors already. Dont hook it up directly to the toggle switch or you will burn it up real quick.
