Default speed pro hypers vs stock ls1 pitions

Are the stock ls1 pistions stronger than speed pro hypers, I see lots of guys use a lot of nitrous on the stock ls1, but everyone says dont put any nos at all on the hyper pistions for sbc or anything else. I only want to use 150 shot.

I run speed pro hypers in my 383 sbc, the general consensus I found when putting that motor together is a 150 shot is about the max recommended with a good tune and properly gapped rings. Of course some have gone well beyond that, but just because you can doesn't mean you should.

There is a guy on here that runs a 250 progressive system on his stock bottom end ls1 and he has been running it for awhile. I figure if it hiccups one time them its going to go boom.

I plan to be shooting a 200 on my car with a stock bottom end. In two stages though.
