CA law question (heard a weird rumor)

Someone told me today that it is possible for the sniffers to detect nitrous if it's been used recently. He said the DMV will automatically declare your car non-street legal. I want to call BS on this, but I'm not 100% sure if this is true or not.

i hate cali smog, just dont use it recently when you go to get sniffed

tell that person that they also have dogs that can smell if you were jerking off and how long ago and that you could be put in jail for public lude behavior! lol

I dunno...my dog comes running over to me after I rot off a batch..he just LOVES to eat a midnight snack of stomach pancakes
