Default What Pistons for LT1 on spray?

what kind of pistons are you LT guys running for spray? im looking JE but what are some specs i should look for? what size rings? oversized ring lands?

I have used JE's and SRP's. Both was set up for a 250 shot.

It really depends on the size of shot you're looking to run. Anything below 250 you're perfectly fine with most off the shelf pistons. I would recommend calling the manufacturer to verify ratings any piston prior to purchasing them.

so generally, if I stay under 250, all I would really need to do is set the rings up properly and use decent quality forged piston? right?

I would get with your engine builder. There are alot of factors that come to play when specing out the right piston for your combo. I have seen people build a hell of an engine and cheat them self on the piston for a couple of hundered bucks and then hit a wall when they have went as fast as they can go due to there piston choice..
