This is my logic on it, after the first pass the line is already filled with the juice. Some people just activate the nitrous for a split second while doing their burnout to get the air out.

A purge may be more beneficial on a wet system, or on a dry kit with a BIG shot, but for a 75-150 shot, I don't think it matters.

I'll save my $80 and just use a wrench to open the line at the bottle when done racing..hah

Have my purge line pointed down and toward my radiator. I always purge just to be on the safe side.

Not running a purge on a dry kit is a poor man's progressive. No biggie.

You don't HAVE to have a purge on a dry kit, but it never hurts to have it. It would also be nice to have if your bottle pressure ends up going a lot higher than what you intend (i.e. sitting directly in the sun during a hot summer day)

Strahley nailed it good. Also using a purge can improve 60 ft times.

if youre worried about people knowing u have it, a purge is still a bit loud when it goes off for someone not to know its there. Also some people say a purge is a waste. I disagree, my kit hits way faster when I purge it first before a run. But if your dry, then yeah, its not so much as big of a deal. But it is handy to vent the feed line after youre done and shut off the bottle.
