Default Dry before maf question

I picked up a dry kit. I have searched and searched but can't find any info on spraying a 50 shot or so before the maf and letting the maf add the fuel. I just added 36lb injectors and I am running TR55 plugs so I think I'll be ok , but its nice to hear from someone who has done this. I will be logging w/efilive and a LM1 so if things don't work right I'll shut her down. Thanks in advance for any pointers...

What info are you looking for?

You really just need to place the nozzle about 6-8 inches from the maf and point it at the maf. You may need to turn the nozzle away from or more towards the maf to get the desired AFR.

I would consider some TR6 plugs. You may also want to have the timing reduced a little depending on how close you are with your current tune and mods.

I agree w/ the TR6's

Have the nozzle(s--if dual nozzle) close to and direct the flow towards the maf wires. The MAF wires are what read the "increased" Airflow (Nitrous) and commands the extra fuel.

When logging do a NA run WOT.

Then your Nitrous WOT run

Compare the MAF Freq of the two. If the AFR for the Nitrous run is acceptable 11-11.5 ish), its likely the MAF Freq is higher than the NA run and things are working the way they should. If your shot is lean look to adjust the nozzle direction or location so the MAF can read it better.

Also log injector duty cycle. On Spray the IDC should be higher than NA.

Another option is the HSW "Interface" which you select pin switches to set the size of your shot, and the Interface will send the PCM the signal to add fuel when your spraying---this way do not have to worry about the nozzle position (and it could be post MAF).

Log for KR as well, this will help you with figuring out timing.

Here is what log

Shoot me a PM after the 28th, I will be home and I will give you my cell #. I can probably email the EFI-Live dash and PIDS I use now as well.

Here is my latest Dash, I forgot to scale the Commanded to the same as AFR, as well I am intergrating the Serial AFR...

Below was a track run 12.06 with a 50 dry shot nitrous working intermitently (elec gremlin) and Burst Knock pulling timing (Tune issue I need to resolve)
