Ron please tell me you did not teach him how to work on cars.. My cats can put a head/cam package in quicker than Josh can.. Oopss. Did I say that? Now I have to admit Josh can give out good advice when he is sober, but he is just like me when it comes to being pleased with a setup. If one little thing is off I am pissed. If I pay good money for something I expect to receive good work and not excuses.. That is why Futral is building my next setup. Out of all the times I have spoken with him he has never made up any excuses. He just says you just have to make up your mind on what you want to do and I will do it. Thats the way it should be.

Josh works fast, just not efficiently

Im glad to see you are going with Allan. You are EXACTLY right on his mentality. Thats why I went with FMS myself, I had a personal goal of 10s on motor and 9s on spray. He didnt blink when I told him what I wanted. I met my goals the first time out at the track too. Cant complain with that.

Goodluck on the new combo man. Im excited for you, Cant wait to see what you decide.

So this is where you've been hanging out Vince??? So 409 Iron it is then? I can't wait to see that beast. You may even be able to beat your arch nemisis with this setup.

On topic... I would think an iron block would be okay with a .060 bore as long as you ran a short - 3/4 fill on the block....

depends on the block, and how much you're gonna spray matt. you know that. i personally wouldnt fill a block unless it was a race motor, but if so, have at it. i want to see a 370 ish motor run deep into the 9's. after seeing rons car do 10.0's on a 200 shot, i dont see it being all that big a problem, just a matter of tuning. 300+ should be cake work w/ a fuel system to back it.

I did consider the 370ci, but the price I rec'd did not make it worth it. Plus, NA the horsepower would barely make up for the added weight. This IJMO.
