Default Lingenfelter Timing Retard Unit

Anyone using one? I just want to use it to retard the timing as the Shot of nitrous is activated. Don't really want to loose whp. Running a small cam. About 405whp on a LS2 GT0.

Going for a 150 shot on a NANO system.

is there any timing system that just works when the nitrous is activated? I know you can play with the load settings and all that with a dry shot and the MAF, but if your shooting wet and want to have max N/A power and retard timing for nitrous runs on the fly.........is it possible?

Yes, with the interface controller. I here it can also auto adjust with a progressive kit and pull timing as % goes up. I will be ordering one in the morning

It works for wet or dry. It even has delays you can set to get rid of any lean spikes. Very nice box for the price

I am using the Lingenfelter unit to pull timing on nitrous, works perfect. It even has an output wire that I have set up so that my HPTuners will record how much timing is being pulled.

I have it wired up to pull timing only when spraying, not just when the system is armed. This way, I can turn it on, and turn on my 1st gear lockout feature. Run on the motor tune in 1st gear and everything happens automatically when I hit 2nd. You can make it delay, ramp (I believe), or whatever. Mine is set up to pull timing instantly and a constant value. My data logger just pops up a straight line with the timing being pulled. Voltage / .2 = degrees pulled. Very simple to setup.

The LNC002 only has a +12 activation for the retard, and my nitrous kit applies/removes a ground signal to activate the spray. I had tap into the ground for the coil side of a relay and use the contact side of the relay to send +12 to the box, works great.

240 shipped anywhere in US out the door, its NIB.

That'll save you 60$ and having to wait on it, took 2 weeks for me to get it from Lingenfelter.

I can vouch for Mickey (SETc6). He doesn't have many posts, but I'm helping him with his car and have seen this 2-step in person. It was actually delivered to my house.

The lingerfelter is worth every dollar it cost. Its by far more precise and reliable than any unit relying on the ait sensor for controlling timming. Spend the little extra cash and do it right.

With the lingenfelter you can retard up to 15 degrees of timming with out having any extra tunning software. Like suggested above it has a volt reference wire that you can connect to HP tunners to varify its pulling the timming if you like.

Install is so simple that you can install it in less than 2 minutes. It plugs embetween the drivers and passengers side coil packs and the controll unit has one wire that connects to the nitrous activation wire.

The unit also has a built in Two step as a bonus. Two install it you are only looking at alittle more install time and a few wires. It is so simple and works great..
