Timing Tuner Install-What to set timing to?

Question Timing Tuner Install-What to set timing to?

ok guys i have a NOS wet plate kit and i just got the time to install the timing tuner i bought for it. how much timing to pull ive heard for 100-150 pull 2 degrees is that accurate? what do you guys recommend?

I pull 5 on a 150 hit. I am at 31 degrees timing though. If you are on stock timing which is 28 I would get it 25.

i had 1 degree of knock in the upper rpm range @ 23 degrees on a 100 shot. knocked it down to 22 and the car is great.

I'd say pull 2* per 50HP of nitrous, and tune it back in 1* at a time while data logging.

im new to the whole timing thing i had my car dyno tuned so i dont have the equipment to watch what my car does while under the nitrous? should i leave this for my tuner to do or am i ok with it? i talked to my tuner yesterday and he said the timing was set between 24 and 27 depending on RPMS... with all this said what should i do?

your timing is way high. on a 150 shot i wouldnt run more than 22 degrees of timing at MOST. more likely 20 degrees.
