Jeff Prock (owner of Applied) is one of the smartest guys you will ever talk to when it comes to nitorus and Drag racing in general.
He is also a little more knowledgable(sp) when it comes to Fuel Injected stuff then most of the ols school N20 guys.

put real fuel in the tank, never mind 93.
sounds like theres a few issues, but im going to say the biggest with your tune was fuel with good fuel maybe you would have been able to run it like it was. start there.

Yes Jeff is cool as hell.. He was tuning on a friends Modified Street car down here at Steele, AL a few weeks ago and he gave me a lot of good tuning tips and took time out of his day to explain a lot of **** to us. Very cool guy.. Got his shirt on right now matter of fact!

I think you shoud stage it. 3 different stages start with 150 then another 150
then another 150. The motor will last alot longer. Way less strain on the engine. especially from a dig. Good luck with what ever you decide.

too many guys, myself included, have been told its "ok" by "tuners" that running nitrous on top of n/a tuneups is ok.

they are great on the dyno for the few seconds the car is loaded (@ 2800 lbs)

but in real life, the tuneup is way the hell off and runs much slower that it should and eats itself alive.

Looks like its already been said but thats to much timing, gap and spark plug heat range.

If this is a N2O motor get the coldest plugs you can get. Because it doesnt matter what it makes on motor because it will not be ran on motor. Always get the coldest plug you can get. For extra safety. And dont run pump gas.

Can can run a N/A tune as long as you pull timing. The A/F will be fine.

Lots of good advice in this thread. I am going to aggree with these guys. Wrong fuel, to much timming, and need to close the gap up on the plug you have.

Personally I like the 9 would be ok with the correct timming but it would not hurt going to a 10.

Sounds like serious detonation. My buddy melted a hole in his block and head on his previous setup. It was tuned for 14psi and race gas, and he ran it with 20+psi and pump gas..
