almost blew a bottle

almost blew a bottle ******* arizona heat. let my bottle in my car at work and around noon I had the doorman run out to my car to get the bottle. he came in with it and stuck it in the doorman booth and came to me to tell me it was HOT.
I went over and touched it and sure enough the ************ was hot to the touch. Damn near painful. I'm SO surprised it didn't blow the disc.
Guess it will be sitting in the house now.
Just a reminder to everyone that it's getting hotter out and to keep that ****** out of the car. Mine is mounted in my back seat and my tint is DARK as **** and that didn't even help.

I try to take mine out too but i don't usually . though with my top up and the bottle full it rarely will get past 1400 psi.
Try using some sunshades and leaving a window cracked. That is what i do.

Somewhere floating around are pics of a T/A that had the bottle blow up in the back and totalled the car. Massive damage. I'd never leave a bottle in the car unless I was planning on using it.

Arizona heat, probably around 100 degrees and an all black leather interior. There's no way putting wet chamois on them or cracking the windows will help - plus the neighborhood I work in ... I'm not leaving any inch of the car unlocked or unsealed.

ive had a pressure disc blow off out front of my house. luckily had a blow down tube on the car otherwise it would have prob blown the windows out. sounded like a bottle rocket going off
Ive blown a couple disks before, it sucks. The first one went off right in my buddies face. We were trying to get my system working for the first time and had the heater on it, he went to the back of the car (spare tire compartment mount) to pull it out of the mount to check the pressure (gauge faces towards the fender
) he said it was at 900psi and it just blew off right then and there. I think the guy that put the disc on my bottle screwed up and overtightened it, it was my first fill. Needless to say it scared the **** out of us but he was ok. Have you ever felt how hot those heaters get? Its scary.

Not about to have either of them break. Especially in my car. Especially at work. That would make for a shitty day.
