What are most people running there A/f on bigger shots 150-300 shots just wondering mine is really rich like 10.5-10.7. I know its safer but just want to see how much we might be able to push it. Thanks

 

Its not really safer in anyway to be running that rich. The shot range you gave was pretty wide. I would say anywhere between 11.5-12.2

 

Like Mike said Rich is not safe.

There is no magic number every motor will want something a little different.

The 150 shot can be off a good bit and not hurt anything the 300 shot not so much.

 

Does leaded 112 affect a/f I run it in nitrous fuel cell and 93 in motor tank. This is on a 200 shot.

 

If your running a 300 hit, if it were my motor I wouldn't even have 93 anywhere in the car. Run some C16 in both tanks. You are running a bit rich I would think, rich is not always better . When all that fuel doesn't get burn't and it makes it's way between the rings, thats how you split them up. So lean it up a tad and it will prob pick up quite a bit of power and pick up some mph.

 

Ill try to lean it out and ill add some 116 to the tank I drive it back and forth to the track. I have ngk 8s in it also. I'm thinking of stepping the shot up motor was built for 300 hke built it.

 

so on a 100 shot i can run 12.0 a/f?

 

Were just trying to get the tune dialed in because its a progressive but we tune with close to tenth of a second ramp on dyno but on track its no nitrous first and one second after activated.
