MSD 8969 WS wiring??
From what I understand it goes like this:
Red goes to 12V?
Yellow goes to the 85 pin on the relay?
White goes to tach - pin 10 on red connector?
Blk goes to ground?
and GRAY goes nowhere???
Anyone have a wiring diagram that would help me?
Thanks in advance....
But:
Red - 12v
Blk - Ground
Yellow - grounds the solenoids.
White - pin 10 on ECU
What about the GRAY wire (stays unpluged?)
Thanks for the Help...
Yellow wire is Normally Open. This wire will provide a ground source(close switch in nitrous relay and activating solenoids) at your desired On rpm, and remove the ground at the set Off rpm(disengaging kit).
Grey wire is Normally Closed. This wire will remove the ground source(usually to activate a timing retard) at your desired On rpm, and complete the ground circuit at the set Off rpm.
Red, Blk, White - are good to go.
Now: Yellow needs to go to the Nitrous relay, which I understand is the 85 wire. Correct?
I still don't understand where the gray wire should wire into?
Sorry for the stupidity, just trying to get it right..
the gray wire removes a ground when you are within your window of activation.
pin 86 would go to your arming switch to get power, pin 85 would go to the yellow wire which will apply ground completing the circuit when your window switch activates. when that happens, you have completed a circuit through an electromagnet which pulls a metal armature with a contact(pin30) toward a second contact(pin 87) closing the switch sending relay rated amperage to your soleniods.
this is all you need to activate the kit with the digital MSD window sw.
also pins 85 and 86 can go either direction....and pins 30 and 87 are the same way.
hopefully i havent made things worse.
Red, blk, white - are good.
Yellow will go to pin 85.
and from what I understand the gray wire will not be used in my case.
Thanks for the help.
