O it needs a gear change for sure I didnt plan on 3.42 gears with a 30" tire its just we had 28" and with 3.73 it wasnt that great driving it on the interstate lol, We drive the **** out of this car so a 3.42 just felt better driving it but now with the 30" tire it doesnt trap with enough RPM. On the 8.6 passes it has a 28" tire and traped above 7000 now it will not go 7000 out the back

Been there ... we had 3.55's with the 30" DR and it made a big difference going to 4.10.
Good luck with the car its gonna roll when you get it worked out.
