Default not able to spray, why?

i just finish to hook up all the hardware and electrical connection for my nitrous kit. I've try every component with key ON and the engine not running. the kit is a zex wet kit with the fuel management unit, a msd digital window switch and TRICK V-Gauge for the Fpss. with the key ON and the engine not running, when i put the FMU directly to the ground, i'm able to engage de solenoid at WOT and the mixture exit by the fogger. with the key ON and engine running, at 3000 rpm, the msd window switch put the ground at the FMU ( i see it while the kit is arm and not at WOT, the light on the FMU goes on) but the solenoid will not engage why? the about 100% sure that the 5v tps signal exit from the relay. do I make a mistake when I hook up the wiring?

tanks!

this how I connect all the component

The TPS signal is used with digital switches for inicating WOT (gives you 4.7-5 V on that wire). Do not use it the way you have pictured. Pin 30 should be your 12 V that goes into the relay and then out to fire the noids.

[QUOTE=Beer99C5;11838555]The TPS signal is used with digital switches for inicating WOT (gives you 4.7-5 V on that wire). Do not use it the way you have pictured. Pin 30 should be your 12 V that goes into the relay and then out to fire the noids.

well, the Noid are in the Fuel management unit in the zex kit and the fmu use the 5v tps signal to determine if WOT or not and after decide to fire the noid or not. I'm 100% with you that i can't fire a traditional solenoid with the 5v signal. In my diagram the FMU have 3 conditions:

#1 to fire the solenoid, the fmu must detect a WOT situation, the 5v tps signal ( white wire) do this.

#2 fuel pressure must not drop below target pressure, if yes, it cut ground to the relay and the fmu lost his tps signal.

#3 to fire the solenoid, rpm must be min to 3000 and max to 5000. msd window switch put the ground for the FMU

the FMU have always power (+) when the system is armed but wait for the engine to be between 3000-5000 rpm to be ON, then the 5v tps signal goes and if I 'm WOT it should fire... but it's not the case

yeah me too, im not the most wiring savy individual but i hooked up my FJO controller in about 2 hours and was spraying a 50 shot just for fun. ive seen guys mess with ZEX and i just looked at all that crap and decided to buy a NX system with and get an FJO controller seperate. now i have 2 stage progressive controller that has a built in window switch. works great and i love it!!! but good luck man, i wish i had something contructive to tell you, other then scratch all that stuff and sell it, and buy and fjo.

In order to set the TPS signal you will have to bypass the relay to save the value. Once it is programed put it back and you will be good to go.
