Bottle Pressure Explained...
When i jet customer cars i have had customers start out with there standard system before NANO anywhere from 850psi to 1150psi. Like i said ask your nitrous manufacture for there recommended pressure or find where you like best. With NANO our starting pressure is always 1050psi and 950psi flowing down track.
I'll see if I can find that other thread.
that was a good thread!

I think the consensus is that 950PSI flowing pressure is the ideal PSI, given a free flowing system. NANO, NOS and HSW, IIRC, are but a few that run this PSI.
My opinion today is that bottle heaters are dated technology and any real serious nitrous user would benefit by running a NANO system. That has always been one of the biggest draw backs of running nitrous, esp bigger hits, that is the tune falling off on the top end and loosing power. Some classes allow only one kit and if we can stabilize the pressure that is good for about a 25% increase in power thru the run. Also we can run the entire contents of the bottle which allows a smaller bottle (weight) for class racers.

Gas form isn't what you want to be spraying. It's really not even a pure gas at that temp. Not an ideal situation. If you want to soften the hit, increast the line length from the solenoid to the nozzle.
