gap for 100 shot

I threw a 300 code on my camaro ss some time ago i was told by a guy here who races and owns a repair shop to change my gap to .045 instead of .035 is this too much gap for a cammed ls1 w/100 shot?

I wouldn't gap anywhere near .045. If you absolutely wanted to gap them higher i'd go no higher than .038 but IMO i'd leave them at .035.

The issue for the code isn't the plug gap.
