Lol. It is moose season up here now. They have stopped racing before because of moose on the track. Then you see a couple guys take off on their wheelers

Not a bad 1st day out though.
What sucks is that I only loosened them 1 click on the front. The previous run left pretty soft with the tighter setup

Not too bad, congrats on getting it going, you've been working on it for a while now and it's got to feel good that you've got it hitting the mark first day out with the new setup

Definately plenty left in it from the video, just a good clean run will probably knock 2 tenths off I bet.

Get the tune strait, raceweight down to about 3000 and you'll be quite happy with the results I'm sure.

That thing leaves like a monster on the spray. But yea im sure if you bring the shocks back down you should be just fine with everything coming in off the line. Getting a lot out of a little.

Yep, next on the list are race brakes and Speed Glass, and a Trans Brake. It feels great to be back out again actually seeing progress

Believe me I hear ya. Drag brakes (full set with redoing the lines, and going to a manual master) saved me 100 lbs last year, so that's a good start. lexan front and rear is like another 80, that's sitting here waiting to go on.

But, I have alot of stuff I'm gonna be doing when I get started... expect a build thread

LOL He was pissed that they lined him up next to me. Typical stuff we deal with up here though. I always expect them to double click the lights on me. Then I trip the first beam, hit the data logger, and take my time getting into the second beam. Usually, they get mad because as soon as they stage, they start revving for their launch.

All of your hard work is starting to pay off, nice run all in all for 1st time out with set-up, congrats. So you like that BS3, and much easier to tune?

Thanks Robert. The Big Stuff 3 is awesome. It is absolutely more user friendly than efi live. Once you spend a couple hours familiarizing yourself with the software, it is actually easy to dial in a basic tune. I haven't gotten into the more advanced portions of injector phasing and stuff like that. I'm going to let RPM dial that in when I get down south this winter

Before your eyes hurt from looking, I was kidding. No moose, just giving jeremy a hard time.

Nick, since you're so interested in moose, I took a pic for you on the way home from work this morning. It was in the neighbors yard.

Jeremy.... looks good.

Just to give you something to think about.

My car went out on the 700hp tune and hit the bumper.... tightened up the shocks and went a 6.23 @110 with a 1.38...... not hitting it that hard.

It did go 1.32 on the bumper... but that is no way to go down the track.

1 stage on the plate with two 52 pills. Makes +280 hp with the nitrous.

I am thinking it will run a 6.10 at 111mph...... so you are gettin it done man!

That front end is way to loose.... tighten it up. Also.. what rear sway bar is on the car?

Wizeass... how are you only going 6.2x with two 52 jets? I mean yeah your car's 300 lbs heavier then mine, but I've gone 6.0 with a single 65... something is wrong.

LOL Stock rear sway bar. I'm going to try a click on the fronts, but I think with a clean run it won't bounce around like that. There was alot of driver error on that run, and it just basically caught me off guard. The car used to leave like that all the time with the LS6 intake. My goal is to hit a 5 in the 1/8th with this little motor on the radials. I think it can happen with a little more track time. I'm putting it on the rollers friday night to hammer down the tune a little more, then if the weather is permitting, the track is open on Sunday to try and hit my number.

I'm going to have to hit you guys up when I visit my folks in Lewisville. They live like 5 minutes from RPM. Maybe I'll have to bring the car down. Are Kennedale or Denton open in mid to late November?
