new #'s

runs were done locked

NA

462/431

N20

525/512

nitrous graph looks a little odd due to the converter flashing then locking, unlocking and then locking again

yeh I know it's not the best to do, but I trust my Yank/FLT combo

We ran a real safe tune to just make sure it's working and did not pull it past 6600.

20-21 degrees of timing
11.3-11.5 A/F

I will work on the nitrous A/F at the track to get it in the 12.0-12.2 area.

I can't remember Larry, were your original #s with the converter locked when the motor was new? Anyways, glad to see your making some headway and the day is almost here to see what it does on the gun.

Edit: What jets did you start out with?

447 when the car was first done

457/414 a few months back

62/46 with 11psi v's the 10psi recommended which is the reason it's rich

950 bottle pressure

I discovered when purging the system down after closing the bottle it did not look clean. Then after taking my bottle out ( which was over 1 year old ) it was damn near out of spray and seems to have air.

bottle is getting fully emptied and filled tomorrow for testing Fri

I know the #'s are low on spray, but I was not really looking for a # and rather the A/F being o.k to start with.

That last pull on the dyno sounded good, sounds like you're ready to hit the track. So you figured out that glitch, was it the window switch?

thanks John

The issue was my WOT switch was a touch out of adjustment. I hope to get the traction needed and the tune in line tomorrow night.

great, i will try it out before I dump it.

I think that's the safest way to approach a new install, don't go for numbers until you know the system is working correctly and the tune is safe. What size hit are you guys ultimately going for?

Robert..I will plan for no more then 250 at this time. The 200 mark is realistically is my plan and to keep the care together for a long time.

I want to work some more on getting the most from the 150 shot both traction and tune wise and move from there.

I did not go over the plugs Fri, but got the A/F in the 11.8-12.2 area and I was very happy with the results for the 1st time out

1.36 60 ft ..still more in it
6.40 1/8
107 mph 1/8
10.09 ET
132.5 1/4 MPH

I plan to put a little more timing in it, play with shift points and keep working on the window switch to get it to 60ft harder...went 1.41 on HP the same night.

I was a little worried this night so I tightened things up after Z8s put his LS1 street car on the bumper. I drove the car to and from the track and wanted to make sure I could make it back the 1.5+ hr trip.

I have to getting a alternator issue sorted out here and be back at the track in a couple weeks.

and as always I love helping you out when time allows..we just have to get the real car together now : TT LTx for the record
